Who sends these messages
Text messages from (888) 643-8291 are sent by GetSkiTickets.com LLC, doing business as Get Ski Bots, which operates the AI phone assistant on that number on behalf of Splash Lagoon Indoor Waterpark. Messages are branded as Splash Lagoon because that is the business the caller contacted and the business the message concerns.
How a guest opts in
Consent is obtained verbally, in real time, during a phone call that the guest themselves placed. There is no list, no signup form, and no imported contacts. The sequence is:
- The guest calls (888) 643-8291, Splash Lagoon’s published guest line.
- The assistant helps them choose lodging and assembles their booking.
- At the payment step, the assistant asks whether the guest would like a secure payment link sent by text.
- If the guest says yes, the assistant asks for the mobile number and reads it back to confirm before sending.
- A single message is sent to the confirmed number.
No message is ever sent to a number that has not been requested on a live call. Numbers are not collected from any other source, are not purchased or shared, and are not used for marketing.
What the guest actually hears
This is the wording the assistant uses on the call. Consent is requested explicitly, the disclosures below are read aloud before anything is sent, and the number is confirmed back.

- Assistant: “You’re all set, sending it now. Open that link to finish your booking, and reply STOP at any time to opt out.”
If the guest declines, no message is sent and the assistant offers to have a team member follow up instead.
Messaging terms
- Message frequency: one message per booking, occasionally a second confirming the reservation. Not recurring.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on the guest’s mobile plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time. Opting out does not affect the guest’s ability to complete a booking by phone.
- Help: reply HELP, or call (888) 643-8291.
- Content: transactional only. No marketing, promotional, or recurring messages are sent from this number.

Opting out and getting help

Reply HELP for assistance. You will receive: “Splash Lagoon: for help with your booking call 888-643-8291. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Record of consent
Because consent is verbal, it is captured in the call recording and the conversation transcript for the call on which it was given, along with the mobile number the guest confirmed. These records are retained and can be produced on request.
