Master switch. Turn off to remove all weather effects from the chat surface.

Show on mobile
Renders the overlay on phones. Disable to save battery on guest devices.
Pause when idle
Stops the animation after 60 seconds of no chat activity. Resumes when the guest interacts.
Respect reduced-motion preference
Required for accessibility. Falls back to a static dusting when the guest’s OS has Reduce Motion enabled.
Drives the launcher, send button, user bubbles, and all branded accents. Foreground text auto-adjusts for contrast.
Background of the chat header bar across all panel layouts. Default white keeps the resort logo legible.

Choose the bubble style and what it shows when collapsed.

Live agent indicator
Lights up the human avatar with green ring + “Agent online” microlabel.
Weather readout
Sun icon + current temperature, pulled from your Mountain Data tab.
“Need help?” CTA
Adds an explicit invitation row at the bottom of the pill.
The clickable phrase shown on the launcher pill. Keep it short — 24 characters max.

Typography

Pick the fonts that match your resort’s brand. Body font is used for messages, UI, and chips. Display font is used for the welcome line and headings inside the chat.

Tap a preset to set both fonts at once. You can fine-tune below.

Blurred background
Blurs the partner’s site behind the chat. Most visible on Middle and Full Panel layouts.

Behavior

Notification and interaction defaults.

Enable sound notifications
Play a soft tone when a new message arrives.
Show pop-up message preview
Show a preview bubble of the most recent agent message.
Ask for rating after conversation ends
Prompt for a 1–5 star rating when the chat closes.
Disable text input (for all languages)
Restrict guests to suggested replies only — no free typing.

Standalone components partners drop into their own website. Each is its own div tag in the install snippet — they can be placed independently.

Greeting message popup

The proactive greeting bubble that appears alongside the launcher.

Existing greeting popup settings (popup logo, size, alignment, position, spacing) preserved as in current production. Detailed UI omitted in this prototype to keep focus on the redesigned controls.
